Godzilla vs. Ghost-Godzilla (1995) Poster
Fan poster for the unmade 1995 film Godzilla vs. Ghost-Godzilla. The film planned to feature the ghost of the original 1954 Godzilla battling against the latest iteration of the king of the monsters. The film was eventually transformed into Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995).
To start we have the under-drawing done in Prismacolor Col-erase pencils on Strathmore gray toned mixed media board at 11"x14".
Next after applying some copic marker washes, airbrushed acrylics, Prismacolor pencil rendering and more, I had the illustration portion completed.
Finally it was time to give it some text! Now... I'm sure what the text says is... wrong. But you'll have to blame my lack of knowledge of Japanese, and also the efficiency of Google Translate.
This project was inspired by the beautiful work of Noriyoshi Ohrai so definitely go and check it out!
